Garden Designer: Tom Angel | Landscape Construction: Greenspace Landscapes Ltd

"Support in Mind Scotland were delighted to be contacted by Tom Angel regarding collaborating on a show garden he was planning for Gardening Scotland this year, even more so when it became apparent this was a subject he was genuinely passionate about, not just paying lip-service to. The plan for the garden looked great but we were blown away when we saw how it turned out, incorporating several clever little touches relating to the subject of mental health recovery. His creative drive, teamed with the excellent practical skills of Ruairidh from Greenspace Landscapes, ended up developing a quite breathtaking show garden, which fully deserved its Silver Gilt and Best New Show Garden awards at this year’s Gardening Scotland event. Overall, Support in Mind’s experience with Tom Angel was overwhelmingly positive from start to finish, you’d struggle to meet a nicer guy, and we count ourselves very lucky to have been a small part of this excellent vision."
